當申請人在兩個工作天內需要去美國探病或奔喪時，may make a normal nonimmigrant visa appointment for the next available time slot via our website (click here). If an appointment for the next available working day is not available, those applicants with emergency travel needs may walk in to the U.S. Consulate General for a visa interview during normal working hours (weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. or between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. except local and U.S. holidays). The appointment time is scheduled for when we expect you to appear in the line to submit your application. Expect the entire process to take approximately two hours to complete. Those applicants must present a letter from the hospital in the United States about the medical condition of the patient, together with other supporting documents, i.e. proof of relationships between the applicant and the patient, financial documents of the applicant.
